1st December 2009 - Chris, Sheffield on www.womow.com.au

We were fortunate to stumble on this place, very close to Josephine Falls but private and tranquil. The hosts, Terry and Helga, made us very welcome, the apartment was sumptuous and the breakfasts were works of art! We only wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly do so again if we are back in Queensland.

26th September 2008 - Belrose  on www.womow.com.au

We stayed at Bartle Frere by accident when the road back to Cairns flooded and we were stranded. They luckily had a vacancy and took us in and it was one of the best places we stayed in during the entire 3 week holiday. They are wonderful hosts, friendly but giving their guests plenty of privacy. The property is in a superb location minutes from the gorgeous Josephine Falls (also a favourite on the trip) and the garden apartment is fitted out with top quality furnishings and all the little things you miss when you are away from home.
